| Welcome to | Steve's Photos Website |
Hi. My name is Steve Schum. I am a Physics teacher and Technology Coordinator at Manzano High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. But photography has always been one of my hobbies and passions. Recently, I purchased a Sony Mavica FD83 digital camera and have been photograhing and archiving students, events and major construction projects at our school. The photo above has four the MHS Varsity Cheerleaders in full costume. Three of them were in my Physics class in 1999-2000. They gave me permission to post this photo. For other sample photos, click on the categories below. Please note that my photos are in jpeg format, which the Sony Mavica saves directly on 3-1/2' floppy disks. Although the sample photos take time to load, I prefer to keep them in jpeg megapixel format to preserve the quality of each photo! But I will be reducing them to 640x480 pixel sizes with much smaller file sizes in July, 2000, due to the reality of slow downloads by most users.
