The Band Boosters provide many opportunities for fundraising, both for personal student accounts and for the general booster fund. Students can earn and bank money to be used towards both the fall and spring trips as well as next year's expenses. The Band Boosters will be fundraising for various expenses such as uniforms, instrument repair, banquet, and more. All students are asked to participate in both a fall and a spring fundraising event to help the general booster fund. Additional fundraising opportunities will be added as they become available.

Administrative assistants, better known as the "band moms" or "band parents", are available to accept payments and distribute sales materials Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:10 am through 7:30 am and before football games. On two-hour delay days, band moms will not be available. The band moms are Laura Mortimer, Susan Bodette, and Cyndi Payne.

AVON Products |
Sell AVON products. AVON brochures are available from Band Moms. Orders generally are due on every other Wednesday and products are delivered by the following Friday. Order's must be paid for in advance (don't charge sales tax, but remember to add the .75 cents processing fee to each order). If you have any questions please call Lorrie Black at 293-3663 Students receive up to 35 percent of the sale proceeds, depending on the product(s) sold and the total amount the Band sells. |
Corny Bags

Support the Manzano Band by purchasing a Corny Bag. Corny Bags are reusable cloth bags filled with non-popping corn kernels. Corny Bags can be used as either hot or cold packs. We have geraniums and hanging Verbena baskets for sale. Geraniums are in 6 inch pots. Colors are varied and can't be guaranteed. Hanging Verbena baskets are mixed colors as well. Prices:
Flowers will be on sale until April 30th. When ordering, please email your order to Sue Woodling at dswoodling@msn.com After I confirm receiving it, you can send in a check with your student's name and order on it. I will forward the email order to the head band mom so we can keep track. Please, please state in your email which flower(s) you want, how many you want, and your student's name. Stadium/Pit Cleaning |
Students and willing band boosters clean the UNM Pit or a section of the UNM Stadium after an event. Students are expected to participate once in the fall and once in the spring. A choice of two cleaning dates are available each semester. The band will receive the funds earned from this event. |

Sell boxes of cookie dough for $14.00 each. Cookie dough flavors inlcude Snickernoodle, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chunk, Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar Cookie, Peanut Butter, m&m, Chocolate Chip Mint, Double Chocolate, Lemon Cooler, Peanut Butter Cup, and White Chunk Macadamia Nut. Orders are due by Wednesday August 20th. Please collect the money for the cookie dough as customers place their orders and ask that checks be made out to Manzano Band Boosters. Order forms are currently available from the Band Moms to pre-sell Entertainment books. Entertainment books for the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area sell for $35 each and easily pay for themselves. Out-of-town books are also available. Sell 5 and get one free! After using the book's coupons for a couple of dinners, activities, or services (such as band uniform cleaning), you will have easily saved the $35 cost. Sell out-of-town books online! Pageant of Bands |
This is your most profitable fundraiser! Sell ads for the 2008 Pageant of Bands Program Book. Sample Program Books and ad sales forms are available in the band parent room. Sales information is also included in the summer band camp packet mailed to each student. All sold ads and money must be turned in by September 5, 2008. Continue to sell products from the Tupperware catalog throughout the year. Pick up a current catalog, order forms, and instructions from the band moms.
