MARCHING
BAND
UNIFORM Black Marching Shoes
Marching shoes are measured and ordered through our uniform supplier during Band Camp.  No other black shoes may be worn, as everyone must wear identical shoes.
Cost:  $30 payable at the Ice Cream Social, during Band Camp, or at time of delivery.  There may be used shoes available in the uniform room for a reduced price.  Donations of used shoes in good condition are gratefully accepted.

Black Socks
Only plain black socks may be worn with the uniform.  Students will NOT be allowed to march wearing any other color of socks. Socks must be at least mid-calf length.
Cost:  Students provide their own socks.

Band T-shirt
The Band T-shirt will be provided at the Ice Cream Social. This T-shirt is always worn under the uniform jacket, as well as with jeans during school assembly performances, etc.
Cost:  The cost of one T-shirt is included in the band fee. Additional shirts may be purchased as long as supplies last.

Jacket, Front Panel, Bibber's, Hat, & Plume, Garment Bag
These are assigned to the student at the time of fitting.  Each student will be held responsible for the care of their assigned uniform.
Cost:  Rental fee is included in the band fee.

CONCERT

Black Socks

Black Pants, Black Belt, White Shirt, Tie
Concert Band members wear black dress pants (no black jeans), a black belt, a white long-sleeve shirt with a collar and buttons from top to bottom, and a respectable tie.  The shirt must be tucked into the pants.
Cost:  Students provide their own concert band clothes.

SYMPHONIC BAND

These are assigned to the student after auditions.  Each student will be held responsible for the care of the assigned uniform.

Only a few students will be allowed in the uniform room at any time. If you forget black socks, some will be available for $2 a pair.
Before-Game Procedure
1.	Check the list for your uniform number BEFORE taking it out of the uniform room to ensure you haven't taken someone else's uniform.
2.	Change into uniform. Return the hanger to the uniform room in numerical order.
3.	Check the list for your hat number. Get your hat out of your hat box and return the hat box BEFORE you leave the uniform room.
4.	The hats should be put up in numerical order (except tall people have been assigned the top rows). Put your hat box back where you got it from.
5.	Get a plume.
6.	See Mrs. Yearout if you have a uniform issue at any point during this process.
After-Game Procedure (reverse sequence)
1.	Put up the plume.
2.	Put up your instrument.
3.	Put up the hat in numerical order.
4.	Change into your street clothes.
5.	Hang up your uniform correctly in the bag, either Patti Vigil or Allison Yearout will be checking the uniforms before you hang them up..
6.	Hang up the bag in numerical order.
7.	See Mrs. Yearout if you have a uniform issue at any point during this process.
