Have You Heard?
- That swimming is a great cross-training sport?
- That gymnasts make fabulous divers?
- That East Mountain Charter students can be a part of our team?
- That you could have fun by joining the Swim/Dive team?
- Have you heard? Well, now you have!
Yes, it’s true, being on the Manzano Swimming and Diving team is great fun. Affectionately called the MHS H2O, the Swim/Dive team is a varsity, winter sport open to boys and girls with a season from October to February.
Just what kind of people are on the team?
Some of our athletes are year-round swimmers, while others only swim during the high school season. And others participate in a variety of different sports such as softball, baseball, even football, and yes, gymnastics. Some of our team members are state champions, while others are relative newbies to either swimming and/or diving. Do you have to have a lot of experience to join? No, but remember, you will have to get wet!

We’re waiting for you to join us!
Special thanks to our "favorite" Assistant Principal, Sue Peters, who somehow always seems to find her way to our meets!

Though you won't find these lions in the pool, we appreciate our school mascots who help to bring the spirit of purple power to school sporting events.
