Announcements

Beginning in the fall of 2005, incoming freshmen will be required to take three years of lab science to graduate. The New Mexico Science Content Standards and Benchmarks were revised by a task force and approved by the N.M. Legislature by September, 2003.
To accommodate the increased enrollment beginning in 2005, MHS will be remodeling two large science classrooms to make them fully compliant with local fiire codes and the No Child Left Behind Act. Also Special Education and BiLingual Education science classes will be moving into science labs that also are compliant with local fiire codes and the No Child Left Behind Act.
