What's new

02.04.2006. It's been a long time since the main page has been updated. Here are some interesting news items:

We are entering the final stage of textbook adoption. Here are some links that may be useful:

  • The APS instructional materials web page is at http://www.aps.edu/aps/tls/index.htm. Click on 'Textbook Adoption' in the left side menu. You will find publisher information, a discussion board, rubrics and a timeline.
  • The online catalog is at https://www.istaronline.com/. The username and password are both nmguest. You are supposed to be able to find prices here (but there were few textbooks listed as of 2/4).

10.07.2004. NM has posted information about the new criterion-referenced tests on its web page at http://www.ped.state.nm.us/div/acc.assess/assess/info.update.corner.html. We have been holding ASTA meetings the first Wednesday of each month.

07.16.2004. This page is undergoing a major revision and may change location in the next couple of months.

06.27.2004. There are quite a few resources in the database now; why don't you look at the Classroom Resources page? The calendar has lots of summer activities, and there are still some professional development opportunities this summer. We also planned out the fall ASTA meetings.

04.17.2004. Summer professional development opportunites are filling in nicely. Here are the files from the Plasma Physics Workshop.

03.23.2004. Don't you love spring break? Added ASTA site and there are a few summer workshops trickling in.

02.29.2004. Whoa! It's been a long time. There are a few new workshops listed, the calendar is almost always up-to-date. But the most exciting news is that Albuquerque has been awarded the 2007 International Science Fair. Visit the official website at http://www.isef2007.org.
