Who is my parent for FAFSA?

*Make sure you are filling out your FAFSA. Every Senior should have it done regardless of family income.

Both students AND parents/guardians will need the following documents to complete the FAFSA

  • 2018 Federal Income Tax Return

  • W-2 forms

  • Student’s birthday and social security number

  • Driver’s license number

  • Any 2018 untaxed income records – Social Security, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), welfare, or veterans’ benefits records

  • Any 2018 business and investment mortgage information; business/farm records; stock, bond, and other investment records

  • Current bank statements or estimated amount in accounts

  • Alien registration care (if you are not a US citizen)

MONEY IS AVAILABLE! EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT NOT QUALIFY!

SOME NEW MEXICO COLLEGES REQUIRE THE FAFSA TO BE ON FILE FOR THE LOTTERY!
