J-20 The Lions Den

What is the Lions Den? 

The Student Growth Center at Manzano High School welcomes students after school two days a week. It is a safe place where students can come for tutoring, mentorship, gaming or simply to interact with their peers. Affectionately nicknamed "The Lions Den", the Growth Center has been a valuable resource. Our goal is for students to have access to a broad range of activities in the Lions' Den. This amazing space was renovated and is supported by Citizen Church. This well appointed space has many study areas, comfortable couches and been bags, air hockey and pool table, as well as, a large television with game system.  The Student Growth Center is open from 3:45 pm to 5:00 pm Monday and Wednesday. Volunteer tutors from Sandia Labs and Citizen Church are available to support students during this time. Come visit us in room J20 soon!
